PLS-Tower Engineer
⚡ PLS-Tower Engineer –(Power Line Systems)
📍 Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
🌍 Sector: Power Transmission – Overhead Lines (HV / EHV)
We are currently looking for a Tower Engineer with strong expertise in PLS-TOWER (Power Line Systems) to support complex overhead transmission line projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Design and analyse transmission towers / steel structures using PLS-TOWER
-
Perform structural and mechanical calculations (wind, ice, load cases, combinations)

Prepare and review calculation reports and technical documentation
-
Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications
-
Interface with line design, foundations, and project and engineering teams
-
Participate in technical reviews and optimization of tower designs
👤 Profile
-
Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
-
Proven experience as a Tower Engineer / Transmission Structures Engineer
-
Strong proficiency in PLS-TOWER (mandatory)
-
Solid understanding of overhead line engineering principles

Ability to work on technically complex projects

Professional level of English or French

Experience with PLS-CADD

Experience on HV / EHV transmission line projects

Knowledge of EN / IEC / ASCE standards

Experience in international project environments
